This is the first English-language edition of Zenji’s
enlightening work, in which he considers how Japan and the rest of Asia
might co-exist in the light of post-war changes in Japanese society and
culture. The author examines the true wealth of Asia - its traditional
values and concepts - which unite Japan and Asia. Zenji joined the
Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1967 and served in a number of
posts at the Embassies in India and Indonesia. He was Ambassador to the
Sultanate of Oman at time of the first publication of this book.
